Estimating the Value of Joe Love Lamps Each Joe Love Lamp comes with a Certificate of
Authenticity.
As you can see finished and polished Montana Agate can be very expensive, depending on color, visible scenes in the stone, and how it is used. Montana Agate is classified as a semi-precious Gemstone and has a very high hardness to it. The stone is difficult to cut, shape and polish - but when it is finished, it will last many generations with no loss of quality. In fact - touching the stone "over and over" adds to the polish and clarity "and value". To further illustrate this, take a look at a few close-ups of some of the stones Joe Love has used to create of his wonderful lamps: (click on thumbnails for larger images)
